The certification of documents associated with foreign economic activity (documents of commercial nature) shall be the procedure of confirmation of validity of originals of documents of commercial nature issued by enterprises and organizations or state authorities, representative offices of foreign economic entities registered within Ukraine to be presented to their foreign counterparties.

The certification of documents associated with foreign economic activity (documents of commercial nature) shall be among statutory functions of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional CCI to be provided according to approved rates.

Rates for services on certification of documents associated with foreign economic activity (documents of commercial nature) shall provide for ordinary (within 3 business days) and urgent (within 1 business day) procedure for certification. 

To have documents of commercial nature certified an applicant shall address the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or respective regional chamber of commerce and industry with a completed application in the prescribed form and documents to a person admitted for such function.

An application in the UCCI-prescribed form on certification of the documents associated with foreign economic activity shall be filed and signed by an enterprise or organisation’s senior official or on his/her behalf by an attorney bearing seal impression of such enterprise. An application of a natural person shall be filed under the hand personally or on his/her behalf by an attorney.
