European Enterprise Network (EEN)

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is the the world's largest support network for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) with international ambitions. It has 3,000 experts across 600 member organizations in more than 60 countries. Member organizations include chambers of commerce and industry, technology centers, and research institutes. The Network helps ambitious SMEs innovate and grow internationally. It provides international business expertise with local knowledge across a range of targeted services:

  • Innovation support

The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a participant of the consortium «EEN-Ukraine», is offering to use the potential of the Enterprise Europe Network with the goal to expand investment and trade opportunities for Ukrainian enterprises and provides the following services jointly with regional chambers:

  • Search for partners-investors in countries-participants of EEN;
  • Serach for innovational technologies in countries-participants of EEN;
  • Search for partners in countries-participants of EEN for creation of joint enterprises;
  • Search for partners in countries-participants of EEN for import and export of goods.

EEN Priorities:

  1. SME internationalization – search for partners in 65 countries;
  2. innovations commercialization – technologies transfer, search for investor/partner abroad for introduction of new technological products or services into the market, protection of intellectual property rights.

EEN includes:

  • over 600 organizations on support and development of business;
  • over 2,5 million organizations-participants;
  • over 6000 technological profiles;
  • over 10000 business profiles;
  • over 100 large events and 18 thousand B2B meeting in a year.

The Enterprise Europe Network was launched in February 2008 by the European Commission. It is co-financed under COSME (Competitiveness of Small and medium-sized enterprises) — a EU funding programme designed to encourage the competitiveness of European enterprises. The programme runs from 2014-2020 with a planned budget of EUR 2.3 bn.
